The Good Ms. Padgett

Gloria's teacher is not only an amazing teacher, she is a very talented singer/songwriter.  I just LOVE her most recent children's CD.  If you love being silly with your kids and are looking for something different then your typical kids songs....you HAVE to check her out.

Flower Power

What do you do when your 3 year old breaks your daughters favorite baton?  You transform it into a flower of course!  

Yup, that is what happened this evening.  Landon was playing with Gloria's favorite water/glittered filled baton and broke it all over the living room.  We were able to salvage one of the ends that was filled with water and purple glitter.  YAY...her favorite color :-)

So, I grabbed a wooden dowel rod, some pipe cleaners and some glue.  Then Gloria and I sat down and began putting it all together.

Big Boy learning how to swing!

There is nothing better in the world then watching your kids grow and learn new things.  The excitement they have with themselves, their pride!  Makes my heart smile.

Not only was Landon proud of learning how to swing but Logan was proud because HE taught him.  Such a GREAT big brother moment.  I wish I had the video camera charged but I did snap a few cute pictures.  Sorry, some of the pictures are over exposed.  I forgot to check my camera settings before I started snapping away. 

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have lots of cute pictures to share but that will have to wait till the weekend or next week.  Spring is here and we have been busy.  Busy playing outside, Busy having cook outs, Busy doing spring crafts...busy, busy, busy!

Of course, I have also been busy (SWAMPED) with crochet orders.  I am so blessed that my little shop took off and is doing so well.  When ever I get over whelmed, I take a second to remind myself how fortunate I am to have so may fans, customers and orders coming in.  I really do LOVE what I do and each and every item I make, I make it with love!

Here are a few cute bunny's I made for the kids Easter Baskets.  I have more to make and will share those in another blog post later :-)

  This is Riley!  He was made for a friends little girl.  I just adore him.  I made the carrot too :-)

 Meet Hunny Bunny.  This one is for Gloria.  I can't wait for them to meet on Easter morning!
