Fun at the park

The kids get out of school at 1:15pm every Wednesday.  With all this beautiful weather, we took advantage of the early dismissal AND Daddy being home.  We packed up the kids (and Maxwell) and went to the park.

 

GREAT day with Gloria

Well, I think it is safe to say that Spring is here.  I have been to Camp Woodlands MANY times for multiple field trips and this was the most BEAUTIFUL day ever.  Normally we are all freezing, the kids are whining and there is a TON of stuff to lug around to keep everyone warm and happy.  Not on this trip!  It really was the most amazing weather that day.

Roaring fun....Dinosaur Crayons :-)

Me and the kids had a blast making these cute crayons and they were easy to make too.  I found this little mold on Ebay (still waiting for the heart one to arrive)

 

Then we peeled the paper off of some old crayons and I cut them in to little pieces.  The kids picked their colors and filled the mold.

 Put them in the Oven on 250 until they were melted and then let them sit for about 15 minutes to harder.

TA DA!  Dinosaur coloring FUN!!!

Spring or Winter?

We have definitely had some CRAZY weather this winter (if we can even call it that).  Now, I LOVE Spring weather and I am not really complaining (just tiny bit!) but I would like to see at least one good snow before the winter is officially over.

Me and the kids are having fun outside, riding bikes and going to the park.  We sure do miss our friend Frosty though!

Here are just a few cute pictures of fun outside "sprinter" weather :-)  Sorry...no pics of the older 2 right now.  We have played out side after school time but I am too busy playing and no camera in hand.  We have a few bike rides, tag and our favorite....kick ball.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

So cool to be celebrating with the kids.  Definitely one of the BEST children's authors EVER!  We have read many, many of his books this week and the kids have had lots of fun in school also.

I am sure we have missed a few awesome events but we did attend a fun PJ night at the library last night in honor of all things Seuss :-)

We read stories by the camp fire (fake one of course), roasted marshmallow, ate smores chex mix, did some crafts and played in the tent.  The kids all had a blast.

This was during the 3rd story, she was super cozy :-)
